Bebe Rexha calls out 'disturbing' TikTok search. Body remarks need to stop, specialists say.

Let's face it, our weight can be a rollercoaster ride. But hey, that's life, and that's totally normal. What's not normal is commenting on someone else's weight, especially without knowing what they're going through. Mental health professionals told USA TODAY that it's important to be sensitive to others and their experiences.

Bebe Rexha, the talented singer and songwriter, is the latest victim of body shaming. She took to Twitter to express her disappointment with people's fascination with her weight, posting a screenshot of a TikTok search result for "bebe rexha weight."

"Seeing that search bar is so upsetting," Rexha wrote. "I'm not mad cause it's true. I did gain weight. But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me no matter what."

Rexha also revealed that she has always struggled with her weight and that she just likes to eat. Well, don't we all?

Looks like celebrities are not immune to body shaming! It's as if people forget that famous people are, well, people too. Can't we just let them live their lives without commenting on their bodies? It's not like they owe us anything. Besides, if we were constantly followed by paparazzi and had our every move scrutinized, we'd probably want to eat a whole cake too.
